1. What’s the smallest, most insignificant moment from your travels that changed you the most—and why did it stay with you?
Watching my son feed ducks on a lake while I sipped coffee on a nearby bench. In that moment, I realised that showing him the world brings me as much joy as it brings him.

2.  Have you ever arrived somewhere and instantly felt, “I could live here and become a completely different person”?
The English countryside, for sure — all of it. I felt so drawn to it that I moved from London as soon as I could. I experienced a similar feeling in Sestri Levante, Italy, where the light, the pace, and the sea make you feel like a different version of yourself.

3. What’s a travel habit or ritual you’ve developed that would seem strange or meaningless to other people, but is essential to your experience?
If I go for a city break I try to find a Photo Booth and take some photos there. Also, I wake up early on my last day just to walk the streets alone before the city fully wakes. Either alone or with my son when we travel together.

4. What’s one place you didn’t like at first—but it slowly “won you over”? What changed: the place, or you?
I think don’t have such a place. I don’t return to places I didn’t like. My last favourite place I’ve been to is Dublin.

5. If you had to design a “perfect travel day” that reflects your lifestyle?

Wake up in a cosy B&B in a coastal Italian town or village — not necessarily luxurious, but a good view from the window is a must.

Breakfast: coffee from a moka pot, fresh bread and cheese, and seasonal fruit, maybe picked up from a local market.
Spend the morning on the beach, feeling the sun and sea breeze.
Stop for lunch at a seaside restaurant, enjoying fresh seafood linguine.
Wander in the afternoon with no strict plan, letting the light guide you; pause often to observe, photograph, or simply sit and watch.
Capture content during the golden hour, when the light makes everything glow.
End the day with a warm drink, journaling or reflecting on the simple moments that made the day feel magical.
