Sitges is a charming coastal town just southwest of Barcelona, known for its beautiful Mediterranean beaches, vibrant cultural scene, and historic old town with whitewashed buildings. Sitges perfectly blends relaxed seaside living with rich Catalan traditions and a dynamic, international vibe.
We asked Dayma, yoga teacher and influencer from Sitges about her favorite spots in the town.
- La Punta – I love sitting on the stone bench there, feeling the sun on my face and just watching the sea. It’s my little moment of peace.
- The beaches at Terramar – They’re usually less crowded, perfect to relax and enjoy the beach in a more quiet way.
- The promenade – Ideal for going on a run with the sea right next to you, it always boosts my energy.
- Getting lost in the streets of Sitges – There’s so much charm everywhere, it always feels a bit magical.
- Mono Café – My favorite coffee spot! They have amazing matcha and the most delicious cookies.
To get to Sitges you need to take train R2S from Barcelona (Estación de Franca, Pg de Gracia, Sants) and travel around 40 minutes.
